2012 was the 100th ANNIVERSARY of Devizes Carnival! The International Street Festival is a key event during Carnvial fortnight and last year ran for two days rather than the usual one.

Carnival in Devizes is an exciting mix of traditional and contemporary carnival styles and the biggest outdoor community event in the town's calendar. It consists of two weeks of festive activities in late August and early September each year and is one of the biggest, free outdoor celebrations in Wiltshire, drawing thousands of people to its events. It includes the famous international Street Festival, Picnic in the Park, the Confetti Battle and, of course, the Carnival Parade.
