Devizes Carnival first saw the light of day in 1912 and was set up to raise money for the cottage hospital. With only a few short breaks it has continued ever since. Today it is a major community event in the town's calendar and features the famous August Bank Holiday STREET FESTIVAL, the CONFETTI BATTLE, and GRAND CARNIVAL PARADE. In recent years Carnival has increased in size and popularity with more and more people getting involved. We've tried to bring you a website that is easy to use and that acts as a central resource for those who want to be involved - either as a participant or a spectator. Getting around is easy: just use the links to the left of this page and start exploring! And don't forget to come back soon to see the latest news about YOUR carnival!
